  • Description

The dam at El Cedazo (the filter) dates back to the 16th century, when it was abandoned and the basin was polluted by sewage and choked with silt and trash.
Schjetnan’s work involved the restoration of both the dam and the lake and the construction of a new center with sport areas and cultural and recreative activities. He also created a sewage treatment plant used for irrigation in the park.
