  • Description

The Durango government made a complex of three pre-existing parks in Durango City, (northern Mexico): Ojo de Agua del Obispo (C. 16th – C.18th), Guadiana (C.19th), and Sahuatoba (C. 20th). Our office was selected to design and rehabilitate the overall complex, adding a new park known as Third Millennium, which was to include a botanical garden and sports areas. The first strategic action consisted of restoring Ojo de Agua del Obisp (‘Bishop’s Spring’), which was full of significant symbolisms to the state and the city.
